Getting my first pair of Dr Martens was like receiving my first communion (during my hey-day I think I had upwards of six pairs, in different colors and styles – in fact, I still have my first pair and refuse to part with them).
So of course, I love their 50 Year Anniversary Campaign – asking 10 bands to cover a cult classic and 10 director to create the videos. Fantastic stuff. The Noisettes cover of the Buzzcocks Ever Fallen In Love with Someone – genius.
