The new site emphasizes community + video – and is simply gorgeous. More and more sites are going to feature video like this – front and center.
According to Creativity:
The Flash-based destination seeks to provide viewers with a deeper level of engagement with its shows: “The site features high quality streaming video, including clips and trailers that can be viewed in full screen resolution, an enhanced, easy-to-access schedule that includes HBO HD and HBO On Demand programming and more sophisticated community and sharing capabilities. Viewers also get their own personal dashboard by which they can bookmark clips, discussions and get the heads up on new content they might be interested in.”
